The Green River Paddle Trail provides convenient access to several points on the river from which a paddling expedition may begin. Trip times vary according to the initial point of entry and distance traveled, but range from an hour to overnight. Mammoth Cave National Park can also be reached by following the river.

Green River Paddle Trail

Overview

The Green River Paddle Trail begins at the spillway below the Green River Lake Dam in Taylor County and extends to the Hart County line. The trail includes parts of the Little Barren River and Russell Creek and offers canoeing, bird and wildlife watching, fishing, hunting, and other recreational activities. The Little Barren and Green River are two of the top 25 recommended streams in Kentucky for smallmouth bass fishing.

Disc Golf and Fitness Park

The Greensburg Disc Golf Course is a 9-hole course, designed for both the beginner and advanced players. The course is primarily nestled in trees, overlooks the Green River and provides breath taking views at every turn. The Greensburg Disc Golf Course is free to the public and can be enjoyed year around. It is located at 214 Industrial Dr. across from Golden Living/Green Hill Manor Nursing Facility. Come out, bring your discs and take advantage of our beautiful course!
